10/30/2011 - Interactive Video Program - Greenville, SC Brandon is a tall, thin 3rd baseman with an athletic frame. In the INF, Brandon has playable hands and feet, and he shows good hustle to the ball. He makes the routine play, and his exchange is clean. Brandon has a long arm action, and he throws with decent accuracy to his target. At the plate, Brandon is a contact hitter with a short swing and fast bat speed. He has good balance, a short swing path, and a line drive approach. Brandon can improve his overall abilities with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
