07/27/2023 - Southwest Championships 17U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Bransyn is a talented switch-hitting SS/RHP in the 2025 class. Defensively, he displays athletic actions and plays on the balls of his feet. Creates his own attack angles to cut down the distance with exceptional 1st step quickness. Plays low to the ground and is on-time to field the baseball. Fields out in front with relaxed hands. Arm plays at 86 and is accurate. Shows mature actions around the bag on his feeds and spins. On the mound, he likes to attack the zone early in the count. If effective in the strike zone and pitches to contact. FB sits 78-81 with a cut shape. His SL/CB combo has 11-5 shape and works down in the zone at 68-71. CH ran arm side at 69 and needs to be used more. At the plate, he has equal talent from each side. Shows plus bat speed from both (87R/87L) and a line drive approach. Has an advanced knowledge of the zone and gets on base (reached base 6 times in 10 plate appearances). Overall, Bransyn is a must following the 2025 class.

04/16/2023 - National Showcase - Oahu, HI Bransyn is a tall, strong SS/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks ball and plays through with his body. Hands are firm and present out front. He utilizes his foot quickness (6.98 60 time) in covering a lot of ground in the MIF. Throws are accurate with online carry (88 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he shows a s a switch hitter but projects best as a RHH. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 80-82 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with gradual break. Slider is harder with tight spin and short break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Bransyn has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
