01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Braxton remains an exciting ball player. The 6'/170 lbs athletically built CF plays the game with a carefree charisma that allows him to perform time and time again. His approach offensively, and his bat speed allow him to make consistently hard, line-drive contact. He drives the baseball and runs the bases very aggressively. Out in center, he has the glove and speed to stay, with active feet and impressive closing speed to make plays. His arm plays well and he shows carry to all his targets. Overall - Braxton will continue to have success in this game at the next level with continued focus and hard work.

06/06/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Braxton continues to show a promising future on the diamond In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. A LHH - he stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (85 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field. On the mound, FB showed a range of 74-77 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Braxton has the tools that will play at a high level and make an immediate impact.

01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Braxton continues to intrigue as a LHH two-way player with strong athleticism. In the OF, he is active with his feet to close in on balls and has good rhythm throughout making the play. Offensively, he stays inside the ball and delivers the barrel on a level, line-drive path. He uses all fields and shows patience in the box, drawing 3 walks in 6 plate appearances. On the mound, he threw his FB with tail, and spun an 11/5 CB. He worked down in the zone and repeated his delivery very well with a quick tempo and pace of delivery. Overall - Braxton is a cold weather guy that has a high ceiling.

10/19/2016 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Braxton is an ultra-athletic OF/RHP who has high upside to become an impactful player at the next level. He has a line drive approach and shows consistent contact with the potential for power. On the mound, Braxton has a compact motion throwing from a low 3/4 slot with a quick arm action. He is on-time throughout his delivery and extends through his release finishing with his chest over his front knee. Braxton's fastball has good run at 79-81 MPH and also throws a slider. Braxton is a very talented prospect who can certainly make a difference at the next level.

10/02/2016 - College PREP - Parker (Denver), CO Braxton is a talented OF prospect who has exceptional raw tools and a solid approach to the game. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
