Brayden continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to square ball and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Behind the plate, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.69. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic, squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.
01/17/2020 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Pirate City (Ages 12-14)
Brayden continues to shine on the diamond. Behind the plate, Feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times showed in the 3.15 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Hands are soft / sure and he sticks balls in the zone. He utilizes his body through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner and center balls out front. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work to and through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a level swing path. At the event, he was 2 for 2 with 3 BB as he shows a strong recognition of the strike zone. Mental makeup is a plus as he is a team player, coachable, and plays the game hard.

Brayden is a C/SS prospect who will graduate in 2026. Behind the plate, Brayden is active moving to block and tracks the ball into his glove well. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, working to keep his throws accurate to the 2B bag. At SS, Brayden gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He stays low to throw and works to make accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He shows a smooth rhythm and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent contact to all fields. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.
