06/16/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (HS) Brayden is an athletic 1B who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series in Omaha. In the field, Brayden is a big target at first base and works to center the baseball. He makes accurate throws to his target from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 76mph. At the plate, he starts with an upright and closed stance. He has a controlled load and rotates his lower half well through the ball. He hit balls consistently into both gaps during BP. During the event, Brayden reached base several times and made several scoops at first base. Overall, Brayden is a solid player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
