05/28/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Brayden had an outstanding outing in GA at the Baseball Factory South Showcase. He goes right after hitters with his heavy fastball that was up to 92 mph. It has tailing and sinking life tying up RHH and darting away from LHH. He commanded it well moving it around to all 4 quadrants and it had good finish to it. Brayden complemented the FB with a curve that had 3/4 tilt and late break. He threw it for strikes consistently and used it for some of his 5 strikeouts in the 8 hitters he faced. there is athleticism in the delivery and he repeats it well leading us to believe that Brayden will have success at higher levels.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
