01/14/2022 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Jackie Robinson Training Complex(Ages 14-18) Brayden is a lean 1B/OF in the class of 2025 out of Frisco, TX. At 1B, he showed an explosive first step with smooth actions. He presents his glove early and out front to field the ball and works a clean exchange into accurate throws/feeds to his targets. At the dish, he displayed a simple rhythm to his swing. This allowed for him to be on time and work the bat on plane to the contact point. He worked the ball to all fields in his approach but could improve on staying on the pitch longer with his front side. Brayden could benefit from programs/drills such as long toss, arm path, strength training, front side/extension hitting drills, speed & agility.

11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Highland Park (DFW), TX Brayden is a 1B who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and plenty of room to add more strength throughout. At 1B, he works to center the baseball and makes routine plays. He fields from a square fielding position with soft hands out front. He creates good momentum to target as he throws from a 3/4 release point with consistent throws to second base and arm velocity up to 67mph. Showed good footwork around bag. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and open stance. Takes a square glide step, with a quick swing, and ability to keep his hands inside the baseball. Hit line drives to the opposite field with a bat exit velocity up to 66mph. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having a bright future on the baseball diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
