Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 3B/RHPPosition Projection

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Brayden is a tall, athletic 3B/RHP who is a prospect on the diamond. At 3B, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying outstanding hitting abilities with excellent power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (91 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. On the mound, his righty has a 2 pitch arsenal in which to keep hitters guessing. Fastball shows a range of 77-78 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with early break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with skink action. Brayden has a big upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

12/13/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Fresno, CA Brayden is a corner infielder who can swing it. At the plate, he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack, crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 90 mph). At 3B, he has plus lateral range for a big guy, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping (83 mph velocity) across the diamond. A projectable 3B, Brayden has a big upside with the makings of a special type player that will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
