01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Brayden is an OF/RHP prospect who showed well during the Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament. In the field, Brayden shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate/on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance with center balance. He gets into his load and works through a direct swing. He generates fast bat speed through the zone, producing loud contact and great pull side power. On the mound, Brayden gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing square to his target. Brayden's fastball tops out at 72mph with sinking action. Overall, Brayden is a talented prospect who will be one to follow as he continues to progress.

09/12/2020 - Fall Pro Training Experience - TX (HS) Brayden continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, hitting/power potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. In the OF, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays smooth actions. He takes proper routes/angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 71 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Brayden.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Brayden is a 1B/RHP prospect who continued to showcase his skills during the Winter Classic. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
