02/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Frisco (DFW), TX Brayden is a lean OF/2B who has a bright future on the diamond. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls but needs to play with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness (7.26 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. At 2B, feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and present well out front. Throws are accurate with carry (80 mph velocity) but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (89 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and makes consistent hard contact with power showing best to the pull side. With 4 years to further develop, Brayden has the makings of a special type player with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
