01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Brayden is a very solid two way player in the 2020 class. At SS, he takes proper angles, has a very good feel for his backhand and does a nice job finding the right hop to play through effectively. He utilizes his quick hands at the plate, giving him a direct path to the ball, leveling his swing out at the right time which allows him to take a loose, aggressive hack. On the mound at the event he recorded 7 Ks in 3 innings pitched. He showed an impressive fastball velocity (86-88mph) with really good arm side run, which he commanded very well and worked in a 2-seamer to the repertoire. He mixes in his 12-6 style curveball (72-76mph) with very good break and solid command. He also mixed in a very good changeup (74-77mph) that he throws with the same arm speed and stroke as his FB. Brayden is a very nice versatile player who projects both ways.
