08/20/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Kannapolis (Charlotte), NC Brayden is a (5'6"/140) 1B/RHP who will graduate in 2024. Defensively at 1B, he's aggressive on his feet as he attacks GB's. He tries to work around and play through the ball towards his target. On the hill, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He delivers from a hi 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and works in line towards home plate. With the stick, Brayden shows good plate discipline. He takes aggressive hacks through the zone and looks to drive pitches back up through the middle of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
