01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Braylen continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the Preseason All American event. In the OF, he utilizes his aggressive feet as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with online carry to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

Exclusive College Recruiting Program Braylen is an athletic CF prospect from Arizona who combines speed with power potential in a middle of the diamond defender. At the plate Braylen has a compact RH swing with bat speed and power to the pull side of the field with exit velocities in the low 90 MPH range consistently. As he taps into his lower half and continues to add strength there is real power potential in his bat. Defensively, he has a quick first step with athleticism and the ability to cover ground that will profile in CF with his 6.9 60 speed that is continuing to lower and his 89 MPH arm strength will give him the potential to play all 3 OF spots if necessary, but profiles best in CF. Overall, there is an intriguing blend of power, speed, athletic ability and upside to Braylen as a 2024 prospect for colleges.

01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Braylen is an OF prospect who showcased his skills during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. In the field, Braylen makes the routine plays and keeps his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and works through a level swing, spraying the ball to all fields. Overall, Braylen is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Braylen is an OF who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame athletic build with some strength present. In the OF, starts with active feet and takes good routes to balls. Shows ability to work behind and through the ball while keeping his feet active. Good glove angle as he fields the ball off of his left foot with a clean gather. Short arm action into a high 3/4 release point with on-line throws into the infield at 80mph. A right-handed hitter, hits from a wide stance. Smooth swing who swings with intent. Rotates hips as he gets his hips thru the swing with good extension. Hard/square contact and ability to hit line drives into both gaps. Hit multiple singles to all parts of the field in live game action with a bat exit velocity of 82mph. With continued development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Braylen is an athletic OF who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls, playing through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with arrange improving as he increases foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. At the plate he continues to shine. Hands are quick and work to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Braylen has a lot of potential with and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
