07/21/2022 - Baseball Factory National World Series at IMG Academy - Session 2 (HS) Brendan is a 2B/RHP in the 2025 class. Scouts like his energy, body language, instincts and willingness to make adjustments. In the field, he begins from an athletic stance and has a quick 1st step read. Plays low and works from the ground up. Hands and exchanges are quick and clean and arm action is loose. Feeds are accurate and dependable. Can attack the baseball more and create his own hop. On the mound, he displays 3 pitches. His FB topped at 69 and worked inside the zone. His CB sat 55-7 with 10/4 shape. His CH sat 59-61 with FB arm speed. At the plate, he displays solid balance and feel. Has comfortable hands and a controlled rhythm. Proves to be a line drive hitter and with staying on his backside more and added strength, he can generate future power. Overall, Brendan is a 2025 player to keep an eye on.

At the plate, hitting abilities have improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
