04/30/2023 - National Showcase - Sauget (St. Louis), IL Brennan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

11/07/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Brennan lowered his 60 time and showed offensive and defensive upgrades during his last workout with The Factory. At 3B, Brennan has active feet, a presentable glove, and he centers the ball well on his body. He makes all plays, his exchange is clean, and he throws accuracy from a high 3/4 arm slot across to his target. At the plate, Brennan has a tall/open stance, he loads well, and swings in good rhythm. He has good feel for the ball, he makes consistent contact, and he hits with strength to the pull side. Brennan is a nice player with room to continue to get better.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
