12/29/2021 - All-In Membership - Bossier City (Shreveport), LA Brenyn is a OF in the class of 2022. He shows a good sized athletic frame with room to continue to fill out. Has good foot speed and ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. At the plate, he shows a clean swing with quiet mechanics. Does a good job of staying fluid and balanced throughout his swing. He shows feel for the barrel and squares the ball up consistently. Barrel path is very direct to the zone. Uses lower ½ well to create late bat whip. Exit velos were up to 85 MPH. In the field, he does a good job of presenting his hands out front when fielding. Does a good job of creating momentum to throw and throws are accurate and on top of the bag. Shows the ability to high point the baseball and works downhill on balls hit to them on the ground. Strong arm up to 89 MPH. Brenyn is a good prospect with 1 season left of high school to continue his development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
