07/31/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1
Brett worked out both on the mound and at 3B in Pirate City and showed very well. On the hill, Brett has a free / loose arm action, a controlled balance point, and on-time separation. He works in good rhythm, he has good direction toward home, and he throws strikes with all of his pitches. At 3B, Brett has great hands and feet, and he moves with good agility to the ball. He has quick actions, he makes plays consistently, and he delivers the ball with accuracy from a loose arm action. Offensively, Brett has athletic actions, good bat speed, and solid pop in his bat. He understands how to hit, he is short to the ball, and he swings in good rhythm.
02/24/2013 - College PREP - Mechanicsburg (Harrisburg), PA
Brett is a solid, athletic, 2-way player who Pitches and plays 3B. On the mound, Brett has a quick arm action, a controlled balance point, and his delivery is compact. He has level shoulders, good direction toward home, and he competes in the zone. A looser back arm action and more finish will help improve mound effectiveness. At 3B, Brett has soft / sure hands, playable feet, and he fields out front. He has good pre-pitch actions, a solid backhand, and he throws with accuracy to his target. Playing lower and added arm strength can spike defensive numbers. Offensively, Brett has a square / athletic set-up, good balance, and fast bat speed. He makes square contact, his swing is level, and he gets his lower 1/2 through. Hitting can improve if Brett can avoid wrapping the bat and stay short to the ball.
