01/24/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Newnan (Atlanta), GA Brian is a tall, solid 3B who has a bright future on the diamond. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he shows active feet that attacks baseball. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate with carry (82 mph velocity) across the diamond. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he displays solid hitting abilities with power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing with gap to gap pop. Brian has a lot of potential and will get looks from collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
