Brian continues to show improvement in most areas of his game. He lowered his 60 time as well as his home to first time. Arm strength went up to 83 mph and his defensive evaluation took a major step up. At the plate, he shows good consistency from both sides of the plate showing more power from the left side. In the outfield, he is aggressive to the ball, sure handed, and takes proper routes to the ball. A quick and clean exchange to throw allows him show good life out of the hand. He needs to continue to follow his throws to keep from cutting himself off. At the plate, he took major steps as well showing good bat speed and a level path to allow him to get good extension after contact. He has polished his game in all areas and will continue to get better with hard work.

Brian is a big, good sized, 2-way player that Pitches and plays OF. On the mound, Brian has good balance and direction toward the plate. He works in good rhythm, has decent arm speed, and his off-speed pitches show nice promise. If Brian can get more extension over his front side, and continue to add arm strength, mound effectiveness will continue to improve. In the OF, Brian is aggressive to the ball and he plays in a comfortable position. He has average hands and feet, and he makes plays on balls hit his way. Brian throws accurately to his target, with good carry. Defensive grades can get better with quicker feet and by staying behind the ball better. Offensively, Brian has average balance and barrel accuracy. He has good bat speed, he can hit to all fields, and has some pop gap to gap. Brian attempts to his his lower 1/2 well, and if he can stay closed, and improve his balance, solid offensive numbers will get even better.
