08/06/2009 - Under Armour All-America Game 2009 One of the most gifted athletes in the 2010 class. He has the potential to be a true 5-tool talent with plus speed (6.70) from an easy stride, arm strength and advanced hitting ability with power to come. He can play all three outfield spots and is a great student and mature young man. He attended the 2009 UA Pre-Season All America event in Tucson and played last summer for the Dallas Tigers - an Under Armour Franchise Team. Committed to Stanford where he was drafted in the 4th round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the San Francisco Giants from Stanford University.

01/16/2009 - Under Armour Pre-Season All America - 2009 Brian is a top prospect at the next level and beyond. He has well above average arm strength and excellent instincts in the field. He shows quick feet and the ability to track anything down. At the plate, Brian lights up pitching. His ball jumps off the bat and he has terrific mechanics. There really isn't much this kid can't do. He should be a professional one day soon.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
