01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Bricen is an athletic R/R MIF who has a solid all-around skill-set. With the bat, this righty shows a tall/open stance with patience waiting for a pitch he likes. Swing is level as he connects and looks to drive the ball back up the middle of the field (exit velo = 83 mph). He battles at the plate, going 2 for 3 with 2 walks and a stolen base at the event. Once on base he remains aggressive and is always looking to advance. At 2B, he has active prep footwork and takes good angles working right to left in his approach to the GB. Hands are soft with a clean transfer to throw. DP feeds and turns are efficient as he moves well around the 2B bag. Only a 2023 grad - this MIF prospect has upside with a bright future ahead in the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
