10/17/2018 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Bridger continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond as he continues to improve his baseball tools. At the plate he has improved power potential, now showing outstanding through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through a short / direct swing path as he stays inside the ball utilizing all fields. He has strength in his swing, displaying gap to gap power. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through well with momentum to his target. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry on his throws. Range is a plus as he continues to improve his foot quickness (6.82 60 time) and reads balls well off the bat, covering a lot of ground. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 75-79 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late / sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for pitch with arm side run. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches, working to get ahead of hitters. He has deception, maintains composure, and is a bull dog on the bump. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great attitude and is very coachable as he works hard to be the best player he can be.
