11/09/2017 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 14-18) Brock is a long, lean two-way player with a projectable frame and raw talent. He has really improved his defense at first and is an asset for the rest of the infielders. He has efficient feet to work around the bag to field and receive throws. He moves well to center the ball in his body and make clean plays with an extended glove. At the plate, he uses all fields and has a good idea for the strike zone and where he wants the ball. His lower half is strong to generate bat speed as he works on a direct path to make consistent contact. On the bump, he has an easy, low stress delivery that he repeats well. He works in line to the plate and tries to stay down in the zone with good command of his fastball and curveball. A long toss program will increase arm strength on the mound and at first. Brock is an intriguing prospect we look forward to seeing more of.
