02/14/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Brodie is an athletic OF prospect who will graduate in 2022. In the field, Brodie uses his plus speed to cover ground and makes the routine plays. He throws from a 3/4 angle and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance and is fluid to load. He drives through well with his lower half and produces strong line drives and gap to gap power (88mph exit velo). Overall, Brodie is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
