11/07/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Brooks worked out in the OF and on the hill during his last workout with The Factory. He showed defensive and arm strength improvements in the OF. Defensively, Brooks makes plays on balls hit his way through playable footwork and he good reads off the bat. He reacts well, keeps the ball in front of his body, and throws with direction toward the cut off man. On the mound, Brooks works all from the strength, he has a clean arm circle and good balance over the rubber. He keeps his eyes on target, lands with a good length stride toward the plate, and rotates through toward his target. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
