10/10/2012 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Bryan continues to show as a LHP/1B but currently projects best on the mound for the next level. Delivery is repeatable, sound allowing his arm action to work free to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 78-84 mph with arm side run, sink, and heavy action. Breaking ball displays 2/7 shape but slow arm speed. He maintains arm speed on his changeup showing solid sink and running action. Command / control are a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches, locating to both sides of the plate and changes speeds well. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as more arm strength is gained. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag. He needs to attack ground balls more and present hands out front to continue to improve defensive grade. At the plate, he shows a balanced approach with hands working through a level swing path. He needs to work to stay inside the ball to utilize all fields and improve hitting grade. Power numbers will increase as he learns to use his lower half more. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and has an upside on the mound.
