03/21/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Jose, CA Bryan is a 2022 2B. Medium frame athletic build with plenty of room to fill out as he develops. Primary 2B with quick/active feet and a good pre-pitch routine. Works from ground up with a low fielding position who fields out front and gathers well into a throwing position. Clean transfers and quick release with accurate/online throws across diamond at 79mph. Showed ability to throw from multiple arm slots with good touch on flips to second base. Right-handed hitter, uses a square and tall stance. Quick hands and ability to keep his hands inside the baseball. Flat barrel plane through hitting with good extension out front. Showed ability to square balls up with a bat exit velocity of 84mph. Consistent line drives to all fields. Has a bright future at the next level with continued development and growth.

12/19/2020 - Winter Pro Training Experience - Nor Cal (HS - Dec) Bryan is a solid 3B/SS prospect in the 2022 class. At 3B, he starts in an athletic position using efficient footwork with the ability to cover ground right and left. He uses relaxed/soft hands while throwing from a low 3/4 arm slot. He also plays well defensively at the SS position displaying his athleticism in both his footwork and glove actions. At the plate, he shows an activated load with controlled rhythm. He uses fast hands to stay inside the ball and create consistent contact (81 mph exit velo) while swinging against a firm front side and engaging his lower 1/2. He has a great attitude and works hard. Overall, Bryan is a talented prospect who has the tools that will translate into the next level.

11/08/2020 - All-In Membership - San Jose, CA Bryan is an athletic 3B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he works around and plays through balls with his body. Glove action is soft and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying well above average hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the balls, utilizing all fields, and shows feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. With 2 years to further develop, Bryan has potential with time and room to improve his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
