03/20/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Liberty Hill, TX Bryce is an OF/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Medium frame stocky build with strength present. A right-handed pitcher, has a simple and repeatable delivery. He shows good rhythm to his delivery, with good direction towards the plate, and keeps his eyes on target throughout delivery. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and has a quick arm stroke. Throws a FB at the bottom of the strike zone that was up to 72mph with plus command. He mixes in an 11/5 shaped breaking ball for strikes, a slider he throws from same window that flashes tight spin, and a changeup with arm side run that he throws with FB arm speed. CH was best pitch during his bullpen session. In the OF, he showed active/efficient footwork as he worked behind and through the baseball. He creates good angles and has a clean gather off his left foot. Made accurate throws, with good momentum towards target, and an arm velocity up to 76mph. At the plate, he hits from an upright and even stance. He gets knob to C, with quickness to hands, and is balanced at contact. A direct barrel path enables him to square up baseballs into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 87mph. With another year of growth and development, we foresee this 2-way player making huge strides on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
