10/12/2016 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Byron continues to impress and improve at first base, on the mound and offensively. Defensively, his pre-pitch setup puts him in a good position to be able to make all plays, as he showed the ability to move laterally with ease and make clean double play turns. At the plate, he showed good aggressiveness, attacking the ball while maintain balance and rhythm throughout his swing. Getting his hands into a load position pre-pitch will greatly help with power to all fields. On the mound, he featured 3 pitches, including a low 80's fastball, a curveball and a changeup from a high 3/4 arm angle. Mechanically, keeping his weight back as long as possible will help him to avoid drifting and leaving the ball up in the zone. All in all, Byron is a polished and impressive player who shows the ability to compete at the next level.
