01/13/2017 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Bryson is a talented SS prospect who has skill offensively and defensively. As a right-handed hitter, Bryson has a square setup with his weight in the front of his stance. He has smooth rhythm with good load and short stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Bryson has an easy swing with an on-plane path producing consistent square contact. He has a middle of the field approach with the ability to spray the ball to all fields. In the field, Bryson plays with quick, active footwork doing a nice job to get around the baseball. He plays with agile actions and fields the ball athletically with a soft glove. Bryson has a quick, clean exchange and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. He plays with momentum through the baseball showing strong, online throws across the diamond. Overall, Bryson has the talent to impact a program in multiple areas of the game.

07/10/2016 - California Select Training & Competition - Session 1 Bryson is an impressive young player who continue to raise his ceiling as a shortstop prospect. At short, he is a silky smooth defender with fluid actions and good feel for the position. He has light, quick feet that lead to extended range, especially to the backhand and charges well. His hands are very fast and he makes great DP turns. At the plate, Bryson shows quiet actions with smooth hands to the ball and a good feel for the barrel. His bat path is level and direct and he sprays line drives to all fields. Working to avoid drifting will allow him to let the ball travel and make more consistent hard contact. This is a very exciting prospect with a bright future ahead of him.

01/31/2016 - National Tryout - Kapolei (Honolulu), HI Bryson is a hard worker who continues to develop. Defensively, this athletic MIF shows quick footwork and fluid actions moving well from right to left around the GB. He secures the ball with soft /sure hands and has a clean exchange to throw. With the bat, this RHH shows a balanced setup with rhythm to load. Hands are quick through a level path as he connects and drives the ball on a line. More extension through contact will help to increase power at the plate. Ho is a young player who has skills with still a ton of ton to progress.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Bryson is a young second basemen who shows the ability to glove it, and swing with some juice. He has made some great improvements since the last time we have seen him, both in the field and at the plate. In the field Bryson shows as a great athlete with the ability to cover ground with a great first step. He also displays a great fielding position, staying low while and fielding the baseball out infront. At the plate he shows good pop in his barrel, and is able to drive the baseball to both gaps. Bryson is able to use the entire body during the swing, with a strong lower half and solid quick hands to the baseball.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
