01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Bryson continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the OF, he uses his quick / athletic feet well in taking proper routes / angles in tracking down balls as he covers a lot of ground, displaying range. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process as he shows big play potential. Throws are accurate with on line (88 mph velocity) carry to his target. At the plate, this RHH continues to shine through an open / crouched setup. Hands are quick generating bat speed through a direct / level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Bryson will get looks from the top collegiate coaches with his baseball tools.

01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Bryson continues to prove why he is one of the more consistent ball players in the 2019 class. Offensively, he creates good bat whip & torque, leveraging off a stiff front side. He works in the middle of the field and gets good extension out over the front side. In the OF, he was very agile, closing in on balls with active feet. He got good reads and was aggressive to cut balls off, and play through to throw. All in all - Bryson has a tremendous upward trend of growth and should be followed closely as he continues through high school.

01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Bryson had an outstanding event at the Preseason All American Rookie event where he continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved, now displaying outstanding abilities through an athletic setup. He has raw strength with baseball exploding off the bat when centered, displaying gap to gap pop. Barrel accuracy is a plus through an aggressive swing path. In the OF, he utilizes his quick feet as he covers a lot of ground, displaying range. Actions are quick / fluid as he displays a sure glove. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with life, accuracy, and on line carry to his throws. With 3 years to further develop, Bryson has the makings of a special type player and is a sure one to follow.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Bryson is an explosive, 2019 OF'er with next level tools. Defensively, he works around the ball with smooth, athletic actions and showed sure hands out in front. He gets great reads on balls with aggressive, agile footwork. At the plate, this RHH hit with a balance, square stance with quiet actions. He is an explosive hitter with strong hands, good BA, strong backside and the ability to drive balls deep into the gaps. Overall, Bryson is a talented player that will see a bright future in this game as he continues to progress.

06/16/2014 - National Tryout - Houston, TX Kemp is a gifted two-way player that is entering into the 8th grade this fall. Offensively, he got activated in his launch and was direct with the barrel down to contact generating late explosion. He has pull side pop with his excellent bat speed and barrel accuracy. In the OF, he has good lateral range, makes plays with sure hands and continues his momentum to throw. At the hot corner, he has good glove side range, making plays while utilizing good angles. He is sure handed, fields in front, and looks the part. Overall - Kemp is an intriguing player that we look forward to tracking throughout high school.

01/18/2013 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at the Yankees Training Complex Bryson is a young player that is a 3B/OF. In the outfield, he shows natural ability with a long/loose arm action and good carry. His hands are sure with agile range and an athletic fielding position. In the infield, Bryson is athletic with agile range, his hands are sure with good accuracy to his throws. He will need to work on reaching a lower fielding position with his hands out in front. Offensively, Bryson has a very aggressive swing with fast bat speed creating hard contact. He has a solid lower half and an on plane swing path. Bryson shows power, mainly to the pull side and will improve opposite field as he learns to let the ball get deeper. His future in the game is in the outfield but is athletic enough to play the infield. Bryson has a lot of potential as he continues to work on his game and physically mature.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
