06/22/2012 - California Select Training & Competition (Ages 12-14) Bryton is a 2016 graduate who plays OF. As a fielder he has active footwork ,playable range and he comes in on the ball well but he needs to take better angles to the ball, practice going back on balls and long toss. At the plate Bryton has an athletic set-up, short stride and short swing path. He needs to develop a smooth load, keep his feet still (balanced) and use his lower half. As he matures Bryton will naturally get stronger which will help him out greatly. He needs to work hard on the fundamentals so his skills will progress as his body does.

05/06/2012 - Interactive Video Program - Stockton (Sacramento), CA Bryton is a young, OF with a thin frame. Defensively, Bryton has active feet, sure hands, and he attacks ground balls aggressively. He makes plays, centers the ball well, and throws with a loose arm with consistency to his target. At the plate, Bryton has an open stance, okay balance, and he makes decent contact. He will need to work on the following in order to improve his overall game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
