01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (MS) Cade is an athletic SS/RHP in the class of 2026 out of Bradenton, FL. At SS, he displayed quick feet with the ability to take good angles and cover ground. He works through the baseball with soft hands and a clean exchange. He made on line throws/feeds to his intended targets. At the plate, this LHH had an athletic set up with smooth timing. He works to a firm front side at contact and gets his barrel on plane with the pitch. He makes consistent contact and works a line drive approach with power to the pull side. On the mound, he works a 2 pitch mix of fastball (62 mph) and a curveball with 11/5 action. Cade is a solid prospect who has a bright future on the baseball field.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Cade is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Cade shows active footwork with a quick first step. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a soft stride. He is fluid to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a smooth swing with plus barrel control, spraying the ball to all fields. On the mound, Cade gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. Cade operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 62mph. Breaking ball sits from 50-53mph with 11-5 break. With five more years to develop, Cade has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/15/2021 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Pirate City (MS) Cade continues to shine on the diamond. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Cade continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is sure and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half work well through the swing and he makes consistent contact. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

02/16/2020 - Accelerated Interactive Video Program - Lake Zurich (Chicago), IL Cade is an athletic SS/OF prospect who will graduate in 2025. At SS, Cade shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. He gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate to his target. In the OF, Cade shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate and on-line to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting back into his load and maintains center balance. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to solid contact. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
