01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Cade is a strong 1B prospect who showcased his skills at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, Cade shows efficient footwork and flashes good range to his glove side. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He throws from a high 3/4 angle and keeps his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH shows an advance approach through and athletic setup. He is controlled getting into a simple load and remains centered in his lower half. He takes a smooth swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact and great gap to gap power. Overall, Cade is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his senior season.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
