01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Cade is a solid, athletic 3B and has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he displays outstanding defensive abilities as he utilizes his quick feet in attacking balls through an aggressive approach. Hands / feet work well together as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Throws display accuracy but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying well above average hitting / power potential. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more aggressively. With 2 years to further develop, Cade has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
