06/05/2018 - 2018 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South This athletic SS shows a tremendous future on the diamond. A RHH- hands are quick as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. He has strength (83 mph exit velocity) in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Defensively, he takes a quick first step and has plus lateral range. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. DP turns are quick with zip on his throws (93 mph velocity). Defensive abilities are near a pro level as he shows big play potential. Cade has a ton of upside and possesses the skill set that will play at a very high level.

10/14/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures South Cade is a middle infielder with polish and instincts. He has an excellent overall feel for the game and fits the mold of a winner with a high baseball IQ. His feet work well in the infield allowing him to work through ground balls well into the throw. He moves well to either side, and his speed (6.85 in the 60) translates to good first-step quickness. His hands are sure and he is a reliable defender who can play multiple IF spots. At the plate he has a coordinated RH stroke that utilizes the whole field and results mostly in line drive contact. He singled in the game after taking a solid batting practice. There is a lot to like in the overall skills and playability of Cade.

12/06/2015 - College PREP - Pensacola, FL Cade is a 2019 middle infielder that has room to fill with his frame. At the dish is where he truly shined, hitting from a square stance with decent balance. He was fluid in his move to hit, getting his hands activated, and delivered the barrel on a direct path for hard contact. He was coordinated with his hands & hips and got extended out over the front side. Defensively, he took good angles to the baseball with efficient footwork and had a clean exchange to throw on-line to his target. Continued work on playing through the baseball and more fine-tuning with his double play footwork will allow for growth in defensive grades. In all - Cade is a young ball player that has sound fundamental ability to add strength too over the next 4 years.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
