11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory's Fall Classic Tournament at Pirate City Cade is a coachable 1B/LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Fall Classic at Pirate City. In the field, Cade shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He throws from a high 3/4 angle and keeps his throws accurate to his target. Increasing his range to his backhand side can help Cade improve defensively. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a crouched stance with comfortable hands. He gets into a simple load and works to barrel up the baseball, driving to his pull side. Cade can improve as a hitter by getting his stride foot down sooner. On the mound, Cade gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He keeps his eyes on target and finishes with a controlled landing. Cade shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 65mph. Breaking ball sits from 55-56mph with 1-7 break. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Cade improve as a pitcher. Overall, Cade is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.
