12/27/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Caden is a competitive, hardworking 1B prospect who graduates in 2019. In the field, Caden plays with good footwork and works around the baseball to field it in a square position. He has good range to his glove side and he works well around the bag. Caden has smooth hands and receives the ball well. Offensively, Caden has a good setup with quiet actions. He head stays on one plane and he tracks the ball well. Caden has an on-plane swing path. He does a nice job using the middle of the field. Overall, Caden has good upside and the ability to continue to improve his game with development.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
