01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Caeden is a smooth/talented SS prospect in the class of 2021 that plays the game with a lot of energy. He is a well-rounded athlete that can make an impact on both sides of the ball. At SS, he shows efficient footwork with a quick first step to field the position at a high level. He uses soft hands to create a clean/quick exchange to make clean DP feeds. Release is quick and throws are consistent/online with zip (83 mph). At the plate, this RHH takes the box in a square/athletic setup. He shows fluid/smooth actions through his load and sequences well to get himself on-time for the pitch. He uses his lower half to generate power and has fast hands through a short/on-plane swing path to create consistent, line-drive type contact (exit velo = 86 mph). Caeden is a well-rounded athlete with a skill set that will play at a high level.

10/07/2020 - Arizona Senior Fall Classic Caeden continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At 3B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active as attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He shows a strong, accurate arm with on line zip (82 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and works through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. He has a very high baseball IQ and solid feel for the game.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Caeden showed a spike in offensive numbers including exit velocity to 84 MPH during his time at the Pre-Season AA. At the plate, Caeden is a strong hitter with an open stance. He swings aggressively, on-plane, and makes hard/consistent contact. Caeden hits hard to the pull side and he rotates his lower body through the ball. At 3rd, Caeden has active feet, he fields low and athletically, and gains momentum toward his target. He is sure handed, funnels well, and throws with accuracy and momentum to his target. On the mound, Caeden has good mechanics, he pitches to contact, and gets outs. He has a loose/free arm circle, good direction, and he throws strikes.

11/03/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Wilsonville (Portland), OR Caeden is a SS/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At SS, Caeden shows quick footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes his stride on time. He is fluid getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to solid contact to all fields. On the mound, Caeden gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a quick arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Caeden shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 80mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 63-67mph with late 12-6 break. Changeup sits from 69-72mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Caeden is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

01/13/2017 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Caeden is a strong and athletic 2B and RHP who in his time in Arizona, showed a great work ethic and a passion for the game. Defensively, he worked around ground balls with smooth footwork, as he got himself into a low position to field the baseball out in front of his body. Arm plays well for the position, as he made accurate and strong throws consistently over to 1st base. Offensively, he sprayed the ball to all fields, even showing some pap to gap power. Actions at the plate were fluid, as he loaded his hands on time, kept his balance centered and used his entire lower 1/2 to generate power. On the mound, he kept his delivery simple and compact, as he worked directionally on line to his catcher from a good balance point. He featured 2 pitches from a high 3/4 arm angle, including a mid 60's fastball that has natural tailing movement and an 11-5 curveball which was thrown for strikes and had late downward movement. Adding a changeup to his arsenal, to give batters a different look and to put less stress on his arm by throwing less curveballs, will greatly help him in the long run. Overall, Caeden is a very talented young player, who has a very high ceiling in this game.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory Spring Training in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Caeden is a coachable player who works hard every day. On the mound, his 3/4 arm slot tends to show a little deception to the hitters. FB has slight sink on a downward plane. He works the ball to both sides of the plate and attacks the zone. He stays directional and works in-line toward the dish. Increased velocity will come with more lower 1/2 drive off of the rubber. At the plate, Chambers shows rhythm to work back into a strong loaded position. He hits the ball where it's pitched with the ability to drive it the other way. He pits the barrel on the ball consistently and went 4 for 7 with 4 singles. In the MIF, Caeden shows active prep as he works into an athletic fielding position. He makes the play to his glove-side and has a clean exchange to throw. Presenting his glove and working to field the ball more out in front will help to improve abilities at 2B. A young, 2021 grad - Caeden still has a ton of time to develop his skills.

11/02/2014 - Interactive Video Program - Wilsonville (Portland), OR Caeden is an athletic 2-way player (RHP/2B) who can pick it. Defensively, he moves well pre-pitch with quick/active footwork. He works through the ball from right to left with clean actions. Ball is quick from glove to hand as he makes accurate throws toward 1B. Offensively, this RHH shows a square setup with good balance. He likes the pitch on the inner 1/2 and pulls it with pop. On the bump, Caeden has a 3-pitch mix coming from a 3/4 arm slot. FB ranges from 55-57 mph with run as he fills up the zone and throws strikes. Arm works freely as he maintains level shoulders and works in-line toward the dish. Cutter shows slight run and compliments his FB well. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

2. More aggressiveness
Offense
1. Limit head movement
2. More lower 1/2 drive
Pitching
1. Finish with extension

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
