09/20/2015 - College PREP - Georgetown, TX Caleb is a projectable (6'0"/175) 2-way player who continues to work hard on his game. On the mound, this lefty repeats his delivery well. He works to a tall balance point and utilizes his long/lanky frame to extend through toward the plate. Separation is smooth and arm works freely as he mixes his pitches well. Breaking ball shows 9/3 shape while changeup is thrown with FB arm speed. More glove-side lead and more lower 1/2 drive off of the rubber will help to tap into added velocity. At 1B, Caleb hustles into a square fielding position. He has fluid/athletic actions, is sure handed and can pick it. At the plate, this LH swinger shows a balanced setup with patience. Swing is level as he engages his lower 1/2 and drives the middle of the field. Swinging on a shorter/more direct path will result in increased power. Crawley has upside and is a few adjustments away from unlocking his potential on the diamond.
