01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Caleb is an atheltic OF/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Caleb takes a good first step and displays quick footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball with sure hands. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate and strong through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He gets his hands activated on time and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. On the mound, Caleb starts with a simple rock step and gathers over the rubber. He separates his hands on time and works with a clean arm, staying inline towards the plate. Caleb shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with cutting action. Breaking ball sits from 69-72mph with late 11-5 break. With three more years to develop, Caleb has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
