02/17/2018 - So Cal Regional Accelerated Hitting Weekend (Ages 12-14) Cameron continued to show as a prospect at the So Cal Regional Accelerated Hitting Weekend. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He takes a level swing and uses the entire field. Cameron can improve as a hitter by continuing to work a load into his swing. With five more years to develop, Cameron has the time and potential to further progress his skills on his field.

02/17/2018 - So Cal Regional Accelerated Pitching & Catching Weekend (Ages 12-14) Cameron continued to show as a prospect during the So Cal Regional Accelerated Pitching & Catching Weekend. Behind the plate, Cameron sits in an athletic stance and presents a good target to the pitcher. He works to move quickly to block balls in the dirt and centers the ball in the middle of his body. Cameron can improve defensively by quickening his exchange to throw. With five more years to develop, Cameron has the time and potential to further progress his skills behind the plate.

01/15/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Tucson, AZ Cameron is a young, 2-way player with an average frame. Behind the plate, Cameron has playable hand and feet, and he holds a low target. He covers the 5 hole when blocking, is quick to his knees, and throws with some accuracy to 2nd base. At SS, Cameron takes good angles to the ball, he keeps the ball in front of his body, and gathers himself with some accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, Cameron has a tall set-up, he gives good effort, and swings with some aggressiveness. Cameron can improve his skills by working on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
