01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Cameron continues to show as a prospect on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. He did show on the mound for the first time at the event. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.00 runner. At the plate, power potential is outstanding through an open setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. In the OF, he utilizes his aggressive feet as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He reads balls well off the bat and covers a lot of ground. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 77-81 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

10/17/2021 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Cameron is an athletic OF who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls and plays with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness (7.08 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (85 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying solid hitting abilities with well above average power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) and work through level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing and maintains balance. With 2 years to further develop, Cameron has a lot of potential and will get looks from the college coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
