06/06/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Cameron is a talented 2-way prospect who showed athleticism in all that he did at the Baseball Factory Texas Showcase. On the mound may be where his highest ceiling is as he used a fastball that was up to 93 mph with downhill plane and some late movement to challenge hitters. He got quite a few empty swings from it and also mixed in a solid curve with good bite and a change that showed some promise. Cameron threw strikes with all of his offerings and was sound mechanically with a quick arm. As a position player he fits well at either corner OF spot with good instincts to track balls and that strong arm that profiles well in RF. Cameron also swung the bat well showing some barrel speed through the zone and lots of line drives during batting practice. This is an interesting athlete to follow closely.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
