07/13/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Rindge, NH Cameron continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.00 runner. At the plate, he has improved now displaying outstanding hitting abilities with near pro level power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (93 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 81-82 mph with good life. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Slider is harder with tight spin and short break. Control is outstanding as he pounds the zone with strikes. Cameron has a big upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

09/12/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Troy (Albany), NY Cameron is a tall, solid RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, he shows a sound, repeatable delivery that allow his arm to work well to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 81-82 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is outstanding as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying outstanding power potential through a tall setup. Hands are quick (91 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. With 2 years to further develop, Cameron has potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
