Official Scouting Report

  • OF/RHPPosition Projection

02/10/2019 - College PREP - Gainesville, FL Cameron is an athletic and lean 2019 2-way prospect. In the OF, Cameron is on time with his prep step, he starts in an athletic position, and works behind the ball. He creates momentum in his lower half and makes accurate throws. At the plate, Cameron starts in a crouched stance, has rhythm in his hands, and stays inside the ball. He's consistently on time to the ball and make consistent hard contact with signs of power to the middle part of the field. On the bump, Cameron features 3 pitches and works down hill in his delivery. His commands his fastball, he has a 9-3 break on his curveball, and has fastball arm speed on his splitter/changeup. He separates on time and has a loose arm action. Cameron will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
