12/20/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Cameron is a hardworking OF/LHP prospect who graduates in 2018. In the outfield, Cameron gets a good jump on the ball and reads it well. He plays with fluid footwork and gets behind the baseball to field it in an athletic position. Cameron has a soft glove and quick exchange leading in a quick arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He plays through the baseball producing online, strong throws. Offensively, Cameron has an open stance with smooth rhythm and an on-time stride. He keeps his weight back and his swing path is upward. Cameron does a nice job tracking the baseball and he is a power type hitter. On the mound, Cameron has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing with quick arm action and a high 3/4 slot. He has the proper stride length and gets extension through his release. Cameron's fastball has tailing movement at 74-77 MPH. He also features a medium breaking curveball and deceptive change-up. Overall, Cameron has a good approach to the game and potential to get even better with development.
