05/26/2012 - Little League® Experience Cameron is an athletic 2019 graduate who is a RHP and plays 1B. His arm action is loose, he has a quick release and he is accurate to his target. On the mound Cameron showed good potential. He needs to finish his pitches and work on his overall mechanics. More specifically staying in-line his target and follow through his pitch. As an infielder Cameron displayed an athletic fielding position, sure hands, efficient footwork, clean/sound feeds/pivots and he has playable range. He needs to long toss, field the ball out front more and work at the agility drills from camp. At the plate Cameron has an athletic setup, centered balance and a good gap to gap approach. He needs to develop an overall smoother load/approach, stride directly at the pitcher, use his lower half more, get started sooner and adjust his swing path from chopping down to being on-plane to the pitch. Cameron is a great kid who plays/works hard. If he keeps working he can be a very good player in the future.
