02/01/2015 - College PREP - Houston, TX Cameron is a left handed hitting SS that will graduate in 2016. Defensively, he showed exceptional actions, working his quick feet and strong body control into a good fielding position to make plays with a soft glove. He worked low to field and was clean with his exchange. Offensively, he got the bat into a good position to hit and had good balance in his setup. He allowed the ball to travel deep to his contact points and had late bat whip which allowed him to spray the ball to all fields with power. All in all - Cameron is a gifted young player that has tremendous ability and athleticism - running a 6.64 sixty, and a 4.0 home to first.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
