09/14/2016 - Under Armour Fall Classic, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Cameron is a very talented 2019 SS/OF that continues to show an upward trend of growth. During his time at the UA Fall Classic with Baseball Factory, he proved to be an integral part of the team, with very good energy, and a spark plug mentality. Defensively, he made plays with plus instincts and feel, and read the barrel well to adjust his positioning and anticipate plays. He was confident in his ability and patrolled the middle of the infield well. Offensively, he jumped out early and was very aggressive swinging at strikes. He collected 6 hard hit balls in just 10 plate appearances, and only failed to put the ball in play during one AB. He stayed inside the ball very well and leveraged off his backside nicely. Overall, Cam is an athlete that ran a 6.93 sixty, threw 82, broad jumped 9'2", and had an exit velo of 80 - his ceiling in this game is very high and we look forward to tracking his progress.

01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Cameron was at it again with Baseball Factory, and was, for the 2nd consecutive year, a Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie member. Offensively, he showed his best ability to date, hitting from stance to finish with good balance and fluidity. He had controlled actions and was smooth with his move, getting the body and hands in a great position to generate bat whip through the zone. He worked with good hand and hip coordination and has the makings of a plus high school hitter already. Defensively at short, he was athletic with his movements and worked to make plays with a sure glove. He fielded the ball out in front and threw with momentum to his targets. His measurables were once again strong and he broad jumped an astonishing 9'6" while also running a 7.0 sixty, yet again. In all - Cameron has the makings of a standout player with positive energy and a hardworking mentality.

09/30/2015 - Arizona Freshman/Sophomore Fall Classic Cameron continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has really improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now an outstanding runner at 7.00. He utilizes his quick feet well in his lateral movements, displaying range in the MIF and is not afraid to get dirty, laying out for balls. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process as he presents glove well out front. Actions are aggressive as he attacks balls and shows off athletic abilities on back hand play. At the plate, he shows an aggressive approach with hands working through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and makes consistent contact as he works to keep hands inside the ball utilizing all fields. Power numbers will increase as he works to stay back and utilize his lower half more aggressively. Mental makeup continues to show as a plus tool as he plays with high energy and is very coachable.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Cameron is an athletic SS with a bright future in the game. At SS Cameron has quick feet, soft / sure hands, and he works around the ball well using the proper footwork. He has a quick exchange and makes accurate throws across the diamond with good carry. At the plate he has a closed stance, smooth load, and good balance. He has a nice rhythm and can spray the ball to all fields. During games he made consistent contact and will be an ideal top of the order hitter at the next level with his approach and speed.

07/25/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City Cameron is an athletic SS that showed a lot of potential. At SS he has a quick first step, fields with soft/sure hands, and works through the ball well. He is aggressive with his approach and uses the proper footwork to get around the baseball. He has a quick exchange and makes accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate he has a smooth load, excellent balance, and uses his lower half well. He has a nice rhythm and uses his quick bat speed to drive balls in the gaps. With his approach and athleticism at the plate, Cameron will be a tough out as he moves on to the next level.

12/27/2013 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic Cameron is an athletic primary SS that also pitches. In the infield he has quick feet, sure hands, and good range. He works through the ball well and is aggressive with his approach. His exchange is quick and he makes accurate throws with good life across the diamond. On the mound he is an athletic pitcher that works quick. Cameron has a good mound presence and pounds the zone with a 3 pitch mix. His fastball shows good arm side run, curve stays down in the zone and is developing, and his change has good sink. He throws strikes with all 3 pitches, but needs to continue to polish his secondary pitches. At the plate Cameron has a good load, short stride, and uses his lower half well. He has a short stroke with quick hands. The ball jumps off his bat and he has lots of potential power with his aggressive and consistent swing.

11/02/2013 - Hitting Accelerated Training Weekend (Ages 12-14) Cameron is a young athletic ball player, that shows the ability to make adjustments well. He also knows the game well, and shows the attitude to want to learn and get better. His swing is mechanical solid, but he tends to get a little over mechanical at times. He needs to learn to put some rhythm and tempo in the swing, and now be robotic. If he can do this he will improve his timing and his barrel action at contact, increasing power and contact.

04/07/2013 - Interactive Video Program - Pittsburgh, PA Cameron is a thin, athletic player who plays SS and RHP. In the INF, Cameron has active feet, good body control, and his hands play well. He makes plays, his exchange is quick, and he throws with a short arm action with accuracy across the diamond. On the mound, Cameron has a long arm action, smooth separation, and he shows a solid overall idea. Offensively, Cameron has an athletic set-up, good balance, and average bat speed. He has a level swing, he can spray to all fields, and he gets his lower body through. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

1. Windup
2. CH
Offense
1. Load
2. Rhythm / Timing

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
